Even if Judas Pence had sent the votes back to each state, and a contingent vote resulted, I personally don't believe that 26 states would have voted for Trump Anyway.

It would not have gone to the states unless Pence chose the Trump electors from the states that submitted them. IT wasnt going to happen. Even before storming the Capitol, Pence made his intentions clear in a letter to congress.
I've wondered about that. If the electors would have been invalidated, how many of those "Republican" houses would have chosen the voters over their own schemes?
