Why would the military be there to protect the 'illegitimate' regime? If someone is planning on doing something big, they don't have to do it then, they have any time afterwards with an illegitimate government to plan what they want.

This video, if I'm not mistaken, shows the east side. I was out side the building on the lawn, on the west side and I didn't hear a Public Address loudspeaker. If the volume on this audio is realistic, that sound would not have carried to my location. Not loud enough.
I got announcements on my phone that said the same thing as the audio here: curfew from 6pm to 6 am tomorrow (Wednesday night to Thursday morning).
I left before 6pm and there was no one getting arrested on the lawn around me at that time. We were all just peacefully watching. I don't know exactly what was happening in the building or on the steps immediately outside of the building.
