This is the one part of the entire thing I just can't wrap my head around. If Biden's inauguration is supposed to be on zoom, what are all these troops for?

This shitty article says the most of the guardsmen in DC are the DC guard, which is controlled by the President himself. Who knows WTF is true anymore though...
