I turned on the radio the other day for the express purpose of hearing what the other side is pushing. It was a "conservative" leaning sports station, and damned if they weren't toeing the line of "LIterally the worst thing that's ever happened to the USA, we are better than this" and all that BS
Supposedly the military once did an experiment: they took the Bill of Rights and reworded it a little bit, keeping the ideas the same, and asked the troops "if you were asked to sign a statement supporting these ideas, would you"... and people were like "Hell no! I'll never sign that!" Most people never bother to think about what American values are. Kind of a failure of the education system... no more civics classes.
The only way I find out what the TV is saying is from reading about it from people who actually watch it.

Probably also a failure of demographics. Importing people from genetic pools which don't value the things we do is a massive own goal.
