Texas won its independence from Spain before Mexico. Mexico only had the balls after Spain was broke. Then Mexico had the balls to want the America’s to maintain the same treaties as Spain. Except they wanted Texas back and we wanted a lotta the northern stuff Mexico had they couldn’t defend at a great price. Then Mexico decided to be stupid.
