I guess I don't understand the theology that God won't let his people suffer at the hands of evil people?
That's really nonsense from both a historical and biblical perspective. Christians all over the world today and throughout history have suffered. What makes America so special?
There are numerous times in scripture where God allowed his people to be conquered. Jesus himself lived in a conquered Israel living under Roman rule. God allowed Nebuchadnezzar to conquer Israel and even profane the temple by bringing artifacts from there back to the temple of his pagan god.

It’s not about biblical contradictions. Did you miss the part about his friend in the government that told him to brace for something big in the next few days and he implied it was a positive thing but still wanted people to plan for a power outage.
Fair enough. I’ve been watching his videos for a decade. He’s no genius but I think he believes it and that gives me some hope. Not the Bible stuff I don’t give a shit about that part.
We may be inflicted with bodily hard but our spirit suffers not. See the many Holy Martyrs. I agree with you, even Christ wept. That's being human. Only we are free from harm in His love. Hopefully that makes some sense! Blessings :)
