I come from a leftist background though I've always been more centralist and not much of a conformist. I'm sometimes stumped at how people on the left can't observe obvious patterns. They're supposed to be cerebral yet seem to go along on automatic as though animals.

I start to wonder sometimes if the people around me have been much stupider than I appreciate. They lose half their IQ when social intelligence takes over but you don't expect it to be stuck on always on.

When looking at the liberal imbalance in universities I notice a lot of people come out on the side they've went in.

By that time they're had about 18 years already of learning and experience. The pattern I observe is that all of their arguments which grow exponentially recursively push their side of the story increasingly uncontested.

These arguments do not work very well for converting people to their cause. What happens instead is they tend to work well on radicalising people already converted to the cause.

They're stuck in this trap unable to realise what works on them doesn't work on others. The result is a concentrate of arguments that are very good against the left, not the right. Quite often they're not bout to convince people because they're simply wrong.

This is why for example they have to resort to absurd levels of deconstructionism such as that sex doesn't exist and everything is simply a bunch of atoms failing to realise that argument deconstructs their position just as much as it does yours.

Could these people really just be that stupid? For example, YouTube persecuting the victims further who are resorting to violence as a result of victimisation, cyberbullying them by for example taking down this channel can only either provoke more violence or punish a lot of innocent people for no good reason.

People aren't going to turn around and say you abused your admin privileges I'm so sorry now I know the error of my ways. They're just going to say they're doing it again.
