Same thing happens with me. It will just hang at posting, sometimes give an error, and sometimes do nothing when I click post.
Also, if I edit a comment and click save, it will reflect the change. However, if I leave the post and come back, it shows the original comment again. This happens more often if I edit the comment from my post history.
I just tried to post the comment somewhere in this thread that would have cemented Trump's second term.
I rotated my screen or something.. gone.
I've seen them come back, filled out, ready to save if you click reply again to the same message.
Can a mod my draft post? Can I find it in a cookie or something? Save page and notepad?
I screamed loud. 3am. Grrrrr.
I swear. When you got something real good typed up. The slightest touch here or youtube. BOOM! Redirect. Gone.

This has happened to me many times. It saves and saves and saves a comment (I’m making), but never completes and posts.
I select and cut it, go back out of the whole comment, then go back to original post. If I can find it, I open comment box, hit it paste, and it posts immediately.

This stuff usually happens when you're commenting in a very active thread that is growing fast.
I’ve had the “saving” forever thing too... but I just go to another topic & later if I check, my comment did indeed post.
I do see the problem w the upvotes going back and forth a lot. I noticed of I upvote the post NOt when I’m in the topic, but when I’m out of it just looking at all the whole scroll of posts, it’ll stay as upvoted. When I’m in the topic, and then leave it, the vote will go away.
I noticed that as well. I attributed it to clicking through too many links in the threads”. I’ve found if I just close out everything, it allows me to post without the “saving post” death wheel... it posts right away.
