Everything in the impeachment papers matches how they behaved in regards to BLM. If anything it's an understatement. Biden was out calling cases of self defence first degree murder.
When you take over a democratic country, as someone elected to make the rules you can also change the rules of the game to either stay elected or seize control for your ideology.
The precedent they are setting here is a truly fascist one. One of the first things you might do to seize a democracy is to make it so you can say these people can't run. They're deciding who you're allowed to vote for.
What you'll end up with is either literally or in effect single candidate ballots. The violence isn't likely to stop because they're going to keep bullying their victims even harder. The victims are going to hit back harder. It'll be a cycle. In situations like this it doesn't stop until their victims are in mass graves.
They have chosen the candidates we get to vote for since 1921.
