Agreed. you can get a pretty good work out Rucking too. Good cardio, makes the legs, core, back and such stronger. Get a bag and throw some weight in it. I've read that most should be able to walk 3 or 4 miles with 25% of their body weight on their back. I suggest training with more for sure, but start light and work way up.

And SOCK! Find a few nice wool socks. Your feet will thank you. They are a bit more expensive, but worth it! I suggest 3 pairs at least.
