Thank You

I appreciate that man...It's just a pretty place to be right now, thinking it didn't make a fuckin' difference when we are where we are at right now

Same thing happened to my father's generation who fought in Angola and the Border War against the Cuban Communists to come back home to South Africa and watch its government simply hand over the reigns to the communists in the ANC. I don't understand your pain, but I know it well.

sirnobody 15 points ago +15 / -0

Might come time soon to fight once again, except this time the enemy is domestic and not foreign. And the ironic part is, this fight will be far more important for the future of the country than whatever conflict you took part in overseas.

12
MikeBravo [S] 12 points ago +14 / -2

Yup...my thoughts EXACTLY

Godspeed my friend. I just hope that when the time comes, and I believe it will, that there are enough of us... and that we aren't just completely wiped out and then the elite will have no problem enslaving the rest.

If Biden gets in, we will go through hell. They've stated publicly that they're ushering in the Great Reset, which is basically global communism. Human slavery. The virus along with the riots aren't a coincidence. It was all planned. A color revolution to get the President out of office to help trigger the great reset. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBBxWtKKQiA

The thing that’s hardest for me isn’t that all the pols are liars, we always knew that. It’s that after everything that has happened, and all the ways we’ve seen criminality on display for the past 5 years specifically, and a lot of people I know are tripling down on tyranny because their tiny brains can’t handle the burden and responsibility of their own liberty. That’s what makes me think it was all in vain.

I'm still holding on til the 20th pede, but it's just a shitty night when you realize the fuckin' dick punch after 20 years of service. Certainly my choice, but just a shitty night of reflection I guess

21
Oldguard08 21 points ago +21 / -0

Been 12 years and can't imagine doing 20. I loved it, miss it but mostly hate it. Buried my blue cord with my best friend in Arlington and will never wear any uniform again. Thanks for holding the line for those of us who couldn't be that man.

14
MikeBravo [S] 14 points ago +15 / -1

brother, we lived a tough life man...I came in early 90's when nothing was going on...You you bastards who came in after the war are truly legendary. Don't forget that.

14
Oldguard08 14 points ago +14 / -0

It was a different time. I refuse to regret it and glad I was out before Obama. Those hard motherfuckers who stayed are a different breed. I got exposed to Arlington after the sandbox and doing 4 funerals a day, that shit broke me not the war but the families and constantly seeing young wives with toddlers and sometimes infants. It was a great honor but it was the end for me. Dover morgue robbed my friends body of the cash he had on him and the Army promised to investigate but just sent a check to his mom for the money that was in the autopsy photo with no explanation why his other personal items weren't found.

12
MikeBravo [S] 12 points ago +12 / -0

wow bro....truly tragic story.

If there is one highlight to my retirement, it's that DJT signed my Certificate! I make sure to remind my buddies who retired under obama of that fact..lol

5
Oldguard08 5 points ago +5 / -0

Now that is fucking shadow box material. Survived all those shitty presidents just to get that piece of paper from the only CiC worth serving. Not gonna lie just a little jelly lol

5
MikeBravo [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

LMAO...I know, right?! (note - I really did laugh out loud)

3
ancroidubh 3 points ago +3 / -0

I worked for a man like you back in the ‘80s. He wouldn’t even wear black shoes. As someone noted earlier, I can’t understand your pain but I’ve seen it before. Welcome home, young brother and please get help if you get near the edge.

thanks pede, but definitely not. I've got twin 14 year old daughters at home and I'll never make my dad legacy a person who "tapped out" too early.

many do, no doubt. But I'm not giving up on this president who has done more to bring the military home than any other in my lifetime. I'm not losing hope yet.

5
Iosevus 5 points ago +5 / -0

Never give up my man, even without the Presidency, DJT will still be one of the most powerful people in the world because of us. We've seen what the media has done, now imagine what a DJT headed media could do.

11B guy here myself. its pretty degusting how many traitors there are in politics

24
MikeBravo [S] 24 points ago +24 / -0

What's crazy fellow grunt, is that I had no clue WTF was really going on. In fact, I didn't even get into politics until after DJT was elected - I couldn't believe it because the MSM kept saying how bad he was.

If you think about it...our job was to train, deploy, redeploy, and over and over again....I didn't have time to get into politics.

I really didn't understand wtf was going on until after I retired because I had time to figure shit out. I got to tell you, if I knew then what I knew now, I would've been much less comfortable with deploying.

14
MikeBravo [S] 14 points ago +14 / -0

bro...I'm not throwing in the towel til the 20th so I hope all options are on the table.

I still find it hard to believe that DJT, knowing the corruption, the connections to the CCP, the fraud, and the fact that we will never peacefully get our country back with a bden presidency would not exhaust every means available to stop it.

13
MAGA1775 13 points ago +13 / -0

Trump has repeatedly said he would "fight and exhaust every legal means" to fight the fraud. And that's exactly what happened.

The issue is that the system he's fighting it within is corrupt to the core and refused to even acknowledge the fraud or look at the evidence. The FBI and DOJ turned a blind eye, the state courts and SCOTUS dismissed all the lawsuits without even looking at the evidence, then his own VP stabbed the final dagger in his back on Jan 6th.

Trump's only last option would be to try and use the IA, call on the militias, and deputize millions of Trump supporters. Citing the reason as a conspiracy to deprive millions of voters their Constitution right to vote.

But based on Trump's demeanor, actions, speech and even official statements from his Dept of State (saying that the Biden transition is going smoothly and will be finalized on the 20th) followed by Trump no longer speaking out against the steal anymore and instead calling for "healing and unity" and mentioning Biden's transition in his speech today....it seems he's given up and doesn't have the fortitude to use the nuclear options.

3
Porkster420 3 points ago +4 / -1

And in doing so he basically handed they keys to the kingdom over to ChiComs without firing a shot.

It would be great if everybody who swore an oath to defend the US from all enemies, foreign and domestic, had the option of giving up so easily.

3
Agent_Orange 3 points ago +3 / -0

I don't think we need to throw in the towel no matter what happens after the 20th. If a miracle happens and President Trump has a second term, that would be so good for us and our country. However, if he's not in office after the 20th, we can get to work on the next phase of taking the country back.

I know President Trump will not have the same power in the case he's not still president, but he (and we) will be even more determined to bring our country back. There will be no more tiptoeing around daisies in this case. We just wield a different kind of power in that case.

6
MikeBravo [S] 6 points ago +6 / -0

I agree and I certainly won't. But fuck, it's gonna be some weird times. Man, if Patriots could just organize and strategize like the fuckin' lefties (soros funded), we'd be unstoppable

4
Agent_Orange 4 points ago +4 / -0

We'll get organized. Once this chapter plays out we'll either be following President Trump to make it happen or someone else will rise up to take the lead (Flynn?). I don't think the Lefties are all that strategic or organized. They just don't give a fuck about who gets hurt along the way. We Conservatives are law abiding people.

3
MikeBravo [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

dude, no doubt. I'm still not "throwing in the towel" til the 20th, but you're absolutely on point

2
consumptiveballerina 2 points ago +2 / -0

I used to work for big defense contractors, before I had kids. I thought it was really cool and I was proud of it. I'm working on my master's so I can go back, but I then I realized I don't WANT to go back to making war machines.

2
MikeBravo [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

great point, brother. I now work for a Veteran non profit who helps Vets/Spouses with employment. Each time one tells me they want to work in Defense Contracting, I cringe because I know what they are supporting

3

11B here too. Feel the same.

15
Dutcheries 15 points ago +15 / -0

Thank you for your service. Although I am not American I still would like to thank you on behalf of myself. Yes ridiculous what is happening and has happened. The whole free world looks up to America. As an outsider I watched everything from above what as happened in America and I like many other are convinced based on the everything that there was fraud.

America alway projected that its the beacon of hope and truth. It fight for speading freedom around the world. That whole idea just broke into pieces infront of everyone's eyes. People here are as mixed has there. One camp believes a and the other b. But one thing we all see is how far and ridiculous thinks go in politics. There is no truth anymore. Just manipulation of information. Sad but true. The system is setup that no truthful man can succes within politics. Trump was the last. But no man that has not billions can fund a campaign. Big tech and other companies will never fund any patriot.

But even in the hopeless situations, over time thing can change. The future is very unpredictable and anything can happen.

7
MikeBravo [S] 7 points ago +7 / -0

Great point brother (or sister). I think there was a time USA was the defender of freedom and democracy, but in recent years, the real motive of war was hidden by the MSM and politicians under the guise of "freedom"

It's frustrating as fuck, but that's the way I've come to believe it.

Right there with you Pede. I feel an immense guilt that i supported those clownswhen I was in.

What I don't regret is my oath or the people i truly served with. They had my back and I had theirs.

3
MikeBravo [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

that's really the point, right. When we were over there, it didn't matter what fuckin' politician signed the order, we were there to defend each other, not our Constitution.

2
Titanium5 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly. We only had each other to depend upon. We knew what we signed up for.

What we didn't understand was that the people that sent us have been, and still are a den of pedocrat vipers and turncoat conservatives.

3
MikeBravo [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

God...that's truly the fucked up thing right?! Dude, for my whole time in, I was too busy training my guys, deploying, fighting, redeploying without really thing about "the why"

I really didn't get "woke" till a year ago when I retired which is a bit pathetic...if it had been earlier, I might have been a conscientious objector...lol

2
Titanium5 2 points ago +2 / -0

They always did a good job of keeping us "on mission". Like like you said, busy with training, deploying and the rest of the job. But in our hearts we loved the idea of service to our once great nation.

I always wondered why vets turned on their leaders. I thought it was a bit disrespectful. But when my eyes opened up and I became wiser, I see the truth about it now.

Our "elected" representatives took advantage of our love for our country, what it stands for and the brave history of those that sacrificed their lives to make us better ss a nation. Even worse, they did it to sell all that we stood for out and line their bank accounts with blood money and grant special privileges to their families and friends.

I have to stop now. My heart is over 140 bpm and my blood is boiling at the thought. I have a lot of cold anger building.

God bless you brother Pede.

3
MikeBravo [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Fuck Bro - that's EXACTLY how I feel right now. Even the part where you mentioned the Vets against our leaders...I felt the same way.

man...we are in some crazy times right now; we just gotta lean on each other to get through it.

4
Fallingshadow 4 points ago +4 / -0

I have respect for the uniform, but not for the politicians who order men like you to die for improper causes. I just wish that the politicians that order you guys to sacrifice so much were kicked to the curb and we were given more sane leadership. The US military deserves to have at least some peace after being forced to fight for nearly a generation (2002-2021 so far).

If we focused more of our military power towards our own borders, rather than foreign countries we'd be way better off.

2
MikeBravo [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

dude...such a great point. It feels like any servicemember who would take part in taking back our country domestically, would be doing more to protect our freedom since WWII.

God, and to think about all of the places overseas, the money spent, etc - what could we do with those resources if we pulled them all back home.

4
Illah88zillah 4 points ago +4 / -0

My father lost his mind in nam fighting commies. He went there a handsome young man, top athlete at his school and also a top scholar, when he came back he wasn't my daddy anymore. He gave his country all he could give to stop communism. That cost us all alot. I have nothing but the utmost love, honor and respect for our Vets who suffer loss that we have the luxury we have. The luxury to live freely and to be able to do so unimpeded, the right to free speech , and all of our God given liberties as described in the Constitution Respect! Rememember, your sacrifices are for us not for those sold out shitbag Chinese donglongtime fuckers.

I still don't want to carry or shoot a gun, but for fuck sakes how can any of us allow what's going on to move forward.

it made everyone here who has NOT served want to fuckin puke when we saw military ballots being fucked with. Since the heart of the orig poster is focused on liberty, freedom & love of country, he didn’t even think to mention military ballots. For me, though, fucking w the military ballots finally opened my eyes: Even wider, I mean. On his behalf, and all others who’ve served, I remain LIVID about it. Those who destroyed or altered military ballots, I’m convinced, can not love this country & have no boundaries when it comes to fraud. To them, it’s a game: To the most ruthless cheater goes the prize. Having said that, never give up, patriots! MikeBravo, thank you for your service sir.🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸

4
MikeBravo [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

dude...that's a friggin' valid point. I wanted to post exactly what you said right after the elect bud for some reason didn't.

If you think about it, it's the same framework the Dems (and seemingly reps) follow. Tell the military how much they love you but not care enough to count their votes....same with minorities. Oh the irony

3
KrakenWakin4JoeBacon 3 points ago +3 / -0

I hear ya. It needs to be ironed the fuck out. Right now out of the blue it just popped into my head that Pence has a son who served (or may still serve). I know everyone is pissed at Pence & around here no one is shy about calling him a traitor..I can’t go either way about that yet — I am no constitutional election law expert. But the fact that the son of the VP served in recent years is noteworthy, correct? I mean it’s not.... proof, I guess, but it’s definitely evidence of patriotism being genuine in the Pence family. With that said — yes, having POTUS’s back would’ve been better evidence. And after witnessing POTUS get harassed nonstop by psychopaths for a half decade, you’d think Pence would listen to the lawyers telling him it was within his authority to send electors back to the states that made that exact request.... WTF Pence?!?!

4
WhyWhyWhyWhyWhy 4 points ago +4 / -0

I had just been thinking about how Military Vets must feel right now.

You've got enough to deal with dealing with what you dealt with over there.

Please don't use this crap here to try and rewrite your history of what happened over there. Rewriting that history will NOT serve you well. Figure how to live you best life NOW and looking FORWARD. You learned many good skills, put them to good use.

Just my 2 cents worth.

1
MikeBravo [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

that's a great friggin' point man and I appreciate you saying that.

Of course you are right...but in the moment, it's hard to rationalize that given what we Patriots are seeing play out in front of our eyes.

3
ShampocalypseWOW 3 points ago +3 / -0

The sad thing is that we aren't ALLOWED to defend the Constitution from the DOMESTIC enemies, only from manufactured foreign enemies.

3

3

6
MikeBravo [S] 6 points ago +6 / -0

4
AnointedVisions 4 points ago +4 / -0

For sure, didn't take it that way. Just throwing my two cents in. Government needs to fear the people again

3
Margeshrimpson 3 points ago +3 / -0

I'm not not voting until a new party forms. There is no difference between democrats and Republicans.

3
America1776 3 points ago +3 / -0

It’s infuriating. Think of all those night missions when you were dead tired, exhausted but had to keep focused and alert. Think of all the equipment you had to haul and the times food was not a priority even though you were starving. Think of all the time away from your loved ones. Think of the grit, grime and stank that covered your body while in the field or on a mission. Those god damned politicians voted for that while they eat caviar and get rich off of our backs.

2
MikeBravo [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

shit man..well said.

I think that's why DJT resonated with so many of us. The elite look down upon us...even invisible until veterans or memorial day.

DJT looks at us as people and a valuable resource

3
BlackSalt 3 points ago +3 / -0

I can't speak for anyone else, and while I don't always agree with what the military does, or where the government sends you guys, I have respect for people like yourself who are in it for the right reasons. It takes courage and a love for our country and people as well as a high level of dedication and selflessness to put yourselves in harms way and get little in return.

I also find it disgusting how previous administrations who had no problems starting wars, would cut your funding or benefits before you even returned home. Some of us, even those of us who didn't support those wars, were totally against that shit. I'll apologize for that, since the assholes who don't care or did that to you never will.

I'm not sure what exactly is your struggle (if it's mental or physical), bu try not to let the past eat you alive. All we can do is our best. As Walter Matthau once said, "It's never too late! That's why they invented death!"

3
MikeBravo [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

man...such a great and inspiring reply brother. I think my, and other Vets' struggle now understanding we were really serving the interest of elitists and not our freedom.

I'm not saying we didn't kill some bad people over there, but it seems pretty clear now that we over there for other reasons.

I appreciate your last point about not letting it "eat me alive" - I do try, but fuck...this is just a doomer day for a lot of us so it gets pretty hard.

1
BlackSalt 1 point ago +1 / -0

I deal with my own regrets. I know how tough it can be some days. On my worst days, would try to throw myself out of bed, tell myself that I'm lucky to have one more day to try to do things right, and go from there.

Also, we're lied to so much in this world. We make decisions based on false pretenses constantly. None of us are immune. You're still here, which means you have the chance every day to make your own life, or somebody else's, better.

👍🏻

I am with you, my husband and I both served for almost 16 years. We got out in 13. It's a everyday struggle for some of us, all we can do is put one step forward even if it is a tiny one. The best advice I ever got was from a fellow NCO take from it what you will but it helps me everyday. " Death is a permanent solution to a temporary problem".

I feel bad for the men and women in the military, they’re in an impossible position. Continue to serve an utterly corrupt and unelected government class which is slowly but surely killing America from within, or refuse to prop them up any longer and risk making the country weak to outside attack?

All we can really hope is that civilian Patriots finally work up the courage to liberate the country, and that the military decides to keep facing outwards as it happens.

what's truly fucked up about that, is that I "encouraged" my 2 older sons (22 & 24) to join the military - the Air Force more specifically, because I didn't want them following in an Infantryman's foot steps in these fucked up times.

They're doing well...one's an A-10 Mechanic and the other is an Intelligence analyst. We will have the talk about separating from the AF when we are together again in person

What's your assessment on the level of cuckery in the military?

We'd all love to think that the military is 95 percent right-leaning. But I fear it's less than that.

Any insight for us?

damn...great question.

I remember the moment I decided to retire from the military. I was a First Sergeant, and all First sergeants and their Commanders had to go to a briefing about "the integration of transgender Soldiers" into our ranks.

The General of the Division was hosting a Q&A session, and one of my peer First Sergeants asked him a simple question about the logistics of it... and the general told him, "if you don't like it, you can drop your retirement papers right now.

That fuckin' asshole really said that.

Not only has there been an infiltration of leftist ideology in academia, there has been an infiltration into our Officer Leadership Academies. My guess is that 50% of the Officers I worked with were lefties, however 90% of the enlisted folk were Patriots.

I remember (before I was red-pilled) and DJT won the election, I was concerned my Soldiers would get on F.B. and talk bad about the new Commander in Chief - punishment would ensue. When I went to formation that morning and said, "If you don't know, DJT was elected as president" - every infantryman in my formation cheered.

Long reply, but that's where I think the military is at

We all know you aren't the only one. My first thought every time I even think about Jo Buy Dem is our men and women in the armed forces. Your service to this country is appreciated every single day my me and I'm sure every non-shill/glowie here. We want you safe until you are needed to defend, not utilized because we are lucky enough to have you in our ranks.
