I'm a 20 year Army Vet and Infantryman who served 4 years overseas, twice in combat, as a sworn oath to our Constitution, in wars directed by our politicians, who don't follow the Constitution.......The irony of that makes me want to fuckin' puke.

I struggle everyday from the consequences of those very same wars.....I know I'm not the only Veteran who feels the same way.

I'm still holding on til the 20th pede, but it's just a shitty night when you realize the fuckin' dick punch after 20 years of service. Certainly my choice, but just a shitty night of reflection I guess

Been 12 years and can't imagine doing 20. I loved it, miss it but mostly hate it. Buried my blue cord with my best friend in Arlington and will never wear any uniform again. Thanks for holding the line for those of us who couldn't be that man.

brother, we lived a tough life man...I came in early 90's when nothing was going on...You you bastards who came in after the war are truly legendary. Don't forget that.
