To those who believe secession to be the solution to our current predicament, I ask this: when have those who wish to do us harm ever been content to leave us alone? The propensity of evil is to find and eradicate the virtue both within and around us, so while secession may provide us with temporary solace, the evil we fled soon return, for they will never be content lest we submit to them. It is our duty as virtuous men to expel this malicious force because this land, governed by our constitution, is our land. Secession is a concession we cannot afford to make
We often criticize our opposition for undermining the constitution, yet we ourselves promulgate secession, an action that subverts the very union the constitution was drafted to protect. So we are at a crossroads, do we as a community admit the constitution is a worthless parchment antique, or accept that secession defiles the document we swore to preserve and protect? The answer is hopefully obvious
Despite being against the constitution, the calls for secession are understandable. The opposition has played by no rules for quite some time, leaving those who abide by the constitution at an inherent disadvantage. They have corrupted our courts, usurped unprecedented power for the federal government, negated checks and balances, stolen elections, devalued our currency, and ultimately stolen our freedom. The action to take then is not retreating, but retaliation. The first step towards taking our country back is using the constitution to bind those who have stolen their power from our liberty.
The constitution never forbid secession. The articles of confederation that each state signed never forbid it, and the founding fathers even said secession was preferable than to keep states in the union which did not want to remain.
All I know is that secession is much preferable to a state of slavery and our Rev War veterans being disgraced over and over again by the behavior of this foreign enemy occupying Washington, DC and plundering our wealth and destroying our heritage and reputation.
We secede, thereby cutting them off from our labor, taxes, and resources. Grow strong and eventually everyone will want to rejoin us and those communist assholes will be destroyed.
Plebs are the only people the Constitution actually matters to anymore. If you haven't noticed, they've been using one amendment after another as toilet paper in DC.
The government itself has been gradually weakening the Constitution and Bill of Rights intentionally, so that they can misinterpret it and twist it to their own purposes. The blind and comfortable people have always just moved their red line back, little by little, until an inch became miles.
