Everything about this past election has been unconstitutional and illegal, however. If a new administration is inaugurated, it will be illegitimate and the Constitution won't matter anyway.

Secession is not "unconstitutional". The US Constitution (which has been violated ad nauseam) defines and limits the powers of the Federal government. It doesn't explicitly prohibit state / county secession, nor would it have the power to do so.
