I really don't understand the wisdom in taking a position on Trump before his term has expired. Like why not reserve judgement until he's actually out of office?

I didn't downvote you. It's a fair point. But now it's not about us to hope for him to act, it's about Trump to surprise us now.
What can he do to stop anything at this point? The insurrection act is not going to happen. All of the lawyers have been crap so far, all of the court cases have sucked so far, the GOP has failed to push back to the states, the recounts and audits failed to fix anything. I don't think there are any surprises left to try.
I really hope there is, but I am worried about the impeachment thing now. There are a lot of GOP senators that may go ahead and impeach (they have 6 year terms), they may do it and ride out the wave thinking we will forgive and forget. That way eliminate Trump from running again.
All conditions have been satisfied for the Insurrection Act to be invoked. That has been proven beyond doubt. Only the most brainwashed establishment normie would deny it.
So even though doomers and hopers disagree on what we think will happen, can we at least all agree that we absolutely want to see the Insurrection Act invoked?
