When protesting, petitioning, and every other governmental institution intended to preserve the liberties of the the People ceases to do so and only enriches those traitors in power, there's only one thing that's left to save freedom: 1776. I'm sorry, but when the government intentionally removes all methods of accountability to the people, such as free and fair elections, and shows blatant disregard for the citizenry and its rights and wishes, by using their offices solely to enrich themselves, and even committing treason in doing so, as well as unabashed overtures of authoritarianism, this is the exact situation the Second Amendment was designed for.

George Washington, Thomas Paine, John Hancock, and so many others are looking down on us with disgust at our placidity in the face of tyranny. It's now or never.
