Lifelong Texan here.
1.Very few Texans are talking about this. It is not ANY kind of a popular mass movement. It has always been, and remains, a few guys wearing lots of rawhide leather under a pop-up tent at the community garage sale, handing out flyers with lots of mis-spellings.
2.The United States ain’t going to let a prosperous, tax-paying state leave. I have no idea why so many people are overlooking the obvious here. Everyone agrees the federal government is corrupt and violent, but some people think states can just leave? Dumb.
3.This flurry of media interest does not reflect anything real. It is a marketing campaign being run by ONE single representative to the state legislature named Biedermann. He runs a true value hardware store in a small town in central Texas and he has a horrible reputation. If you like, you can read all of the weirdness which was entered into the legal record from his divorce by his bea...uh, ex-wife during their divorce and was somehow obtained by his last opponent and used in the campaign.
This is not real and it is not going to happen. Please try to stay in the realm of reality.
Sorry.
It's one of the many avenues we can pursue. With or without Donald Trump, MAGA will live on. He opened the door, and now it's our duty to finish the job, and that means carrying the torch he gave us to generations to come. 10,000 dissenters terrifies the system. Imagine 80,000,000.
Start big based families, infiltrate institutions, get involved locally politically, become a great influence to other people, stay strong and do not despair. All of these based things are dissent against the system. God is on our side and we have already won in the end.
