He can order docs declassified, but unfortunately the people that have to deliver the documents will tell him to fuck off and slow-ball everything just like they have done for 4 years

Can he hold a gun to their head? Because I believe the same people who killed jfk, wanted to bomb American cruise ships to start a war with cuba, are the same people who knew about 9/11 and started the iraq war. Those people, are still. In charge. Names may change, but it's the same people. Bush was directly involved with JFK's death, you can't change my mind.

Yeah this. Bet money the Lindsay Graham not-so-subtle threat applies to “go nicely and you may live” re: DECLAS.

Muh institutions...

This is absolutely incorrect. Trump has access to all the files, can declassify them at any time, and can deliver them to the public himself.

Like the people at the DOJ said when Judicial watch asked for the files that Trump said he had declassified "Trumps twitter isn't an official order, when Trump actually asks us to declassify stuff, which he hasn't, we will do it".

You are dreaming if you think the deep state within the necessary departments either wont show him most of it or wouldn't block him from obtaining it for one week.

Fair enough, I hope you’re right then

True. But if they are Declassified, and he has an alternate source for the information, he could tell us without incurring charges

24
thunderpussy 24 points ago +24 / -0

You are presuming that the President actually controls these agencies, something that I am not convinced he or any President actually does.

5
qwertyuiop123 5 points ago +7 / -2

It doesn't matter, he has access to all the files, he is perfectly within his rights to declassify and post them on twitter. We shall see what he does in the next 7 days.

4
rgsmith66 4 points ago +4 / -0

Why the f*** would he post anything to Twatter, even if he still had an account there? Split them down in to three piles - one for minds, one for Gab, and one for Parler (if/when it reappears).

It is an interesting question, though for real.

Yeah, they simply refuse to comply with Trump's lawful orders. There's nothing he can do short of personally marching in to the server room and downloading the documents himself.

2
qwertyuiop123 2 points ago +2 / -0

They didn't refuse to comply, when the courts ordered them to make the documents available, they pointed out that Trump had made no mention to them officially of declassification, he had only mentioned it on twitter. The court agreed that Trump would have to specifically ask them to declassify first.

HILLARY AND BILL TOOK THE CURTAINS AND THE SILVERWARE WHEN THEY LEFT THE WHITE HOUSE!

gbolcer 11 points ago +11 / -0

Don't forget they popped off all the 'w' keys from all the keyboards. Even with a GAO and FBI report, leftists still to this day don't believe it happened.

https://www.gao.gov/new.items/d02360.pdf

It listed missing building fixtures, such as doorknobs and a presidential seal; computer keyboards with missing “W” keys; damaged and overturned furniture; telephone lines pulled from the wall; telephones with missing telephone number labels; fax machines moved to the wrong areas and a secure telephone left open with the key in it; offices left in a state of “general trashing,” including the contents of desk drawers dumped on the floor, a glass desk top smashed and on the floor, and refrigerators unplugged with spoiled food; writing on the walls; and voice mail greetings that had obscene messages. The list also indicated that six to eight 14-foot trucks were needed to recover usable supplies that had been thrown away.

Part of the Left's 'peaceful transition' - that blocked official communications for the new President for days until the lines were repaired.

And Hillary left with blackmail material?

The White House FBI files controversy of the Clinton Administration, often referred to as Filegate, arose in June 1996 around improper access in 1993 and 1994 to FBI security-clearance documents. Craig Livingstone, director of the White House's Office of Personnel Security, improperly requested, and received from the FBI, background reports concerning several hundred individuals without asking permission. The revelations provoked a strong political and press reaction because many of the files covered White House employees from previous Republican administrations, including top presidential advisors. Under criticism, Livingstone resigned from his position. Allegations were made that senior White House figures, including First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, may have requested and read the files for political purposes, and that the First Lady had authorized the hiring of the underqualified Livingstone.

I think the problem here is that, that data is controlled by the deep state.

Even if he ordered them to hand it to him, they'd probably ignore him or keep back the juicy stuff.

untumulted 3 points ago +3 / -0

He leaves office, and ...reclassified. Arrested for holding classified info with the intent to distribute.

Just do what Sandy Berger did and put all the documents into your underwear and smuggle them out

1

Trump couldn't fit them because of his massive balls

2
Herecomedatpresident 2 points ago +2 / -0

I like your thinking here.

2
HockeyMom4Trump 2 points ago +2 / -0

I would not even need to see the documents. If Trump told me, I would believe him.

2
jamrs 2 points ago +2 / -0

Let me spell it out for you. Trump is going to take whatever blackmail material he has home with him to ensure him and his family aren't fucked with. That will be the end if it.

All former Presidents continue to have full security clearances unless revoked. I'm assuming the impeachment (which has a snowball's chance in hell of passing in the Senate) is meant to do just that to keep him from using information against them.

Funny we haven't heard anything about the DNI election interference report delivered to congress. I think we can infer what it said by their reaction.

1
anon2309011 1 point ago +1 / -0

Having a clearance doesn't mean you get to see shit. There is still the all important requirement of "Need to know".

1
gbolcer 1 point ago +1 / -0

I only meant stuff he already knows. He's got more than enough information against them right now.

"Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway."

1
anon2309011 1 point ago +1 / -0

How many heads of departments do you think would comply with an order to declassify right now?

1
MythArcana 1 point ago +1 / -0

Only former heads of CIA and FBI can take classified records home and show them to the world after they leave office, but only if they're Democrats.

1
hansgruber7 1 point ago +1 / -0

No way they would cooperate with him, and even if they did, they would arrest him for having classified information on Jan 21. The facts wouldn't matter. But they will probably arrest him anyway at some point now.

1
johnbush 1 point ago +1 / -0

Donnie is trying to stay out of jail. He's not making any more moves until he's safe. I don't think people realize what DC, and MSM can do to him because of the "insurrection" (air quotes, and their words). He's definitely walking on eggshells right now.

1
ARfreedom 1 point ago +1 / -0

One problem would be getting the data off the classified computers. USB mass storage devices aren't recognized by the OS by default.

1
Q-TARDED 1 point ago +1 / -0

I thought he already declassified a bunch of shit that people are refusing to release. The scumbags are just running out the clock. You are never going to see JACK SHIT.

1
WinnerChickenDinner 1 point ago +1 / -0

I am positive he can find someone who can declassify and give him the info on thumb drives. I'm sure he has someone in the agencies somewhere that can do it after hours and sneak it out to him. Government is very sloppy on these things.

1
Series3Gleaner 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well he could buy 4 14TB drives, one for each pocket, fill them and walk out.

oshead 0 points ago +1 / -1

I don't think they will follow orders if he does. They will just sit on it. The corrupt or fear of reprisals goes deep.
