At this point it seems there is only one option for America to remain a free republic. The legal system is broken so really it becomes a question of who does the military back? I never thought I would say that about the United States but here we are. If Biden or his façade takes the mantle of power then we know what happens. The surprise will be how quickly it happens. On the other hand if Trump is planning a D-day style swooping in at the last moment then we won't know until it's over simply because of the nature of war.
