In 2016 most decent conservatives had no clue who Trump was in regards to what he would and could do. I think it's a little unfair to finger point those on the Right who supported mainstream "right" candidates at that time.

It's funny how people forget the absolute and utter change in our political world since Trump came on the scene. He revealed things that we did not necessarily see before.

I personally was done with politics after the 2008 election, I despised both parties with only a passing regard for the conservative side - who seemed clueless on how to conserve anything. Trump changed all that and I don't see a lot of people going back to sleep.
