Trying to scare/bully Congress to agree to a ten-day audit so the country can trust the election outcome is literally the opposite of an insurrection. It would be more accurate to say Congress was the insurrection and the mob tried, and failed, to force a transparent election.

Exactly right, Congress committed the crime, along with Dominion/Smartmatic, ect. Remember Ashli Babbit, she, and others, bled, and died, so we could possibly have a future. And how was she and others remembered? Defamed, slandered and lied about, even Trump would not call her name out.

Always remember, the United States of America is our nation, WE are America, the people, not Congress, they are supposed to SERVE us, as PUBLIC SERVANTS. Our Founding Fathers knew this.

They derive their power from the consent of the governed. I do not consent. Let there be peace, let there be freedom. I’ve never felt more patriotic than I do right now, standing next to each and everyone of you against this tyranny. In fact, I thank the Lord that we have been given this moment in time, that we may experience our brothers and sisters patriotic love. 🇺🇸🙏 We truly stand together.

4
PanderjitSingh 4 points ago +4 / -0

They’re already in power forever. They aren’t going to fix the election process that allowed them to cheat their way to power. They aren’t going to prevent massive MSM propaganda campaigns for their people. They aren’t going to stop social media censorship and interference on their behalf.

They are going to give 30 million illegals the vote, make overwhelmingly Dem Puerto Rico and DC into states, open the border, and at least try to criminalize opposition.

1
D0NNIE_DARK0 1 point ago +1 / -0

All these things might not go the way they think. All those Puerto Rican’s going to Florida did not vote blue. Trump has an even bigger appeal to immigrants even with media slander. The way the Dems are going after wrongthink it’s only a matter of time before they will eventually turn on their own and might splinter their base even further. Trust me I’m blackpilled and not looking forward to re-education camps but they are lazy and sloppy and God hasn’t totally abandoned us.

Because the 'evidence' is probably just comparison spreadsheets. With personally identifiable information in it, so can't be shared. If that doesn't hold up to expectations, the next step would be digging into the underlying software performing that comparison (I'm going to guess excel). And besides asking proving that there was no fraud is an impossible - you can't prove a negative

3
PanderjitSingh 3 points ago +3 / -0

Giving the evidence its day in court is not asking them to prove the absence of fraud. And if you’ve watched any of the hours of evidence presented before various state legislatures you know it’s not spreadsheets full of personal data.

Who would have thought that out of all the conservative voices, Scott Adam’s would have the best take. He’s right up there with Limbaugh in beating everyone to the punch.

9
ChecksOut 9 points ago +9 / -0

He takes every side. Also, he is fucking rich and invests in these companies, and he has friends and fans in them. He’s safe.

8
CisSiberianOrchestra 8 points ago +8 / -0

Last I heard, Scott doesn't even consider himself a conservative. He's always identified as apolitical. He just calls things like he sees them.

7
lucifer_fit_deus 7 points ago +7 / -0

Adams has stated that he himself likes policies that are economically to the left of Trump (Medicare for all, free college, etc.), but that he is still a big fan of Trump.

5
SurfingUSA 5 points ago +5 / -0

He's said 100 times "I'm to the left of Bernie."

2
captainbollocks 2 points ago +2 / -0

He's said that he's to the left of Bernie, but that he actually understands economics and realizes that there's better way to get the good things that leftists want (better healthcare, housing, education, a clean environment, etc)

The primary tool for oppression right now is economic. Cancel culture can destroy your livelyhood. They aren't arresting us outright yet.

Independently wealthy people are in the best position to openly dissent because they don't become homeless if you get the fired.

There are two groups left with true freedom: those who can stand entirely on their own, and those with nothing left to lose.

n3IVI0 10 points ago +10 / -0

An audit, a full and transparent audit, not a bullshit one, would have ended the debate. It would have put this to rest. The more they fight the effort to get at the truth, the more people are convinced the vote fraud is real and the steal happened.

2
idonthaveahobby 2 points ago +3 / -1

An audit by definitition is a sampling. That is not what I want.

I want a full recount with checks to make sure each and every vote is legal.

5
SurfingUSA 5 points ago +5 / -0

A forensic audit is a real check to the nitty-gritty of exactly what votes are legit (100% I believe either after a sampling or from the get-go.)

A recount could merely recount fraudulent votes for the umpteenth time.

1
cryogen 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's false. Only a specific, new sort of auditing uses samples and then extrapolates from there (the "risk limiting audit"). Ironically I believe it greatly increases the chances of fraud since the production of the sample seems to be opaque and in control of the very election officials that are implicated in the charges.

When we say 'audit,' we mean of every damn county, and especially those with big red flags like pure democratic control, kicking out of observers, and late-night dumps of insane margin mail-in ballots.

2
idonthaveahobby 2 points ago +2 / -0

This exactly highlights the issue with using the word audit when asking for what we want. We have an ambiguity here which leads to miscommunication.

There seems to be a specific definition that you are referring to from election law versus a general meaning from accountimg, law, government, etc.

This is problematic when dealing with politicians that twist words to suit their purpose.

For example, in Georgia, Kemp ordered an audit as the voters were demanding. It used a sampling as I described and amounted to nothing but a show.

We need to be more specific in our request. Otherwise, we get frustrated when we do not get what we think we are asking for when it is interpreted in a different way.

I have not thought about what we should call it, but political consultants should be thinking about this problem for the future.

2
cryogen 2 points ago +2 / -0

"full" or "complete" or "comprehensive" might be enough if added to "audit"

1
idonthaveahobby 1 point ago +1 / -0

Maybe that is the path forward. "Complete and full accounting" is better than audit.

10
47urOFH3d 10 points ago +10 / -0

And can't follow this guy's reasoning. On the one hand, he says that the demonstration was an appropriate response to the situation. On the other, he's saying that Trump 'should have known' that a demonstration might turn violent - and therefor not have called for it.

13
JeremiahKassin 13 points ago +13 / -0

The two aren't opposed if you assume he's saying we're reaching the point where violence is an acceptable solution. I'm not saying it is, but that could be what he's implying.

12
HiddenDekuScrub 12 points ago +12 / -0

Yeah this. The key to watching/listening to Scott Adams is he's very much a stoic. Whether or not he sees himself as that is another story.

I also consider him "King of the Normies", because he's generally a good barometer for how normies are feeling about the various events, just with a calmer and more analytical mind. I consider this a good thing. As an example: he doesn't seem to be fully bought in that the elections were fraudulent, but thinks it's suspect that the lady doth protest too much and whatnot.

13
tombombadil 13 points ago +13 / -0

He 100% believes the elections were fraudulent and says so regularly. He uses the ice cream on the sidewalk example. If you drop ice cream on a hot side walk, then walk away and someone asks you if the ice cream melted, you can say with 100% certainty that it did, even though you never actually saw it melt.

Same thing with the election fraud. If you have a system where there is a huge upside to cheating and the chances of getting caught cheating are extremely low, fraud will happen 100% of the time.

The thing he questions is whether the system will ever care enough about the fraud to actually do something. The answer of course is no. Our politicians who created the system are useless.

0
PanderjitSingh 0 points ago +1 / -1

He also accepts every Dem denial of fraud. Every piece of evidence of fraud is immediately denied by the Dems, without evidence, and that’s good enough for him.

Court cases don’t need ironclad evidence, just enough to convince a judge.

9
MountainViolinist 9 points ago +9 / -0

He's fully bought into it being fraudulent. Just not convinced the outcome can be changed

1
PanderjitSingh 1 point ago +1 / -0

He’s said the outcome should not be changed regardless of fraud because that would make the Dems mad and they loot, riot, burn, beat, and kill when they’re mad.

3
princessalala 3 points ago +3 / -0

i WISH he was king of the normies, my family thinks he's a "not see" :(

2
HocusLocus 2 points ago +2 / -0

To paraphrase MAGA peoples' expectations of Scott Adams in his own words,

"If you invite a cartoonist to share a foxhole with you, you're crazy!"

Very clever insights but he doesn't want to have any of his opinions nailed into the wall. The closer events approach a tipping point he will veer away from the main points.

2
HiddenDekuScrub 2 points ago +2 / -0

That said, I wouldn't mind sharing a foxhole with him. But that's because I was an art major who works in tech (yeah, I know) and I imagine we'd have a lot of fascinating conversations and arguments.

insurrection [ in-suh-rek-shuhn ]

noun an act or instance of rising in revolt, rebellion, or resistance against civil authority or an established government.

Civil Authority = An Honest Election

Resisting audits of the election is insurrection, committed by demoKKKrats and corrupt Republicans in Georgia.

A fraudulent elected government is not an established government. It is an illegal government. Therefore, you cannot form an insurrection against an illegal government.

The insurrection was the election fraud. Election fraud is resistance to the civilian authority governing legal elections. This insurrection included illegal actions by officials and governors and courts in illegal disregard for state legislature rules on how state elections shall be conducted.

Scott is flip flopping all over the place, I think he has cognitive dissonance. Two videos ago he said the people going into the Capitol were doing the most American of things. Last video he said those participating in the riots should be executed (seeming to blur people outside not knowing what was going on, and people taking the Capitol tour, and Provocateurs leading the incursion). Now he says it is the opposite of an insurrection.

3

I had to stop watching when he accepted each and every Dem denial of fraud without question. Didn’t matter that each denial was without any evidence, he just accepted it. He finally stopped waiting for them to say "No, that’s debunked" and just made up excuses for them.

He seemed to think a videotaped confession from top Dems would be necessary.

2
Ocineaa 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly. He rode with Trump to the top then when things got hard backpedaled like the coward he is.

1
tombombadil 1 point ago +1 / -0

He says the exact opposite. He says that a claim + a debunk = nothing. He says you have to actually look into the claim and the debunk in order to know anything. And he criticizes the media for refusing to do so.
