I work in liberal land. Everyone I work with thinks (because of their own cognitive conceits and because of the industry I am in) that I also am a huge leftist. There are 4 of us that are not. Whenever a co-worker says stupid shit to me, all I do is agree ("yeah totally!"), then I act real confused and ask a simple Socratic question to get them thinking...
This is best. Always start by agreeing with them, isolate the principle involved, then apply to a different case that creates cognitive dissonance and encourage them to agree.
