We need to get started on the open source phone idea. We need to become focused on one thing at a time and the most important right now is to organize and invest in an open source phone. We must free ourselves from Silicon Valley and we can all organize to realistically make this happen.

You can just buy an Android and rip the OS off by rooting it. It a pain in the ass on some phone more than other. But its do-able if you put in the effort.
Its called degoogling... But people have to be tech savy enough to pull it off.. you can end up bricking your phone. There should be some kind of service where you send your phone, the do the job, and you just pay
