Mike Pompeo's tweet: "One week from today, I will be stepping aside as Secretary of State and this account will be archived. Be sure to follow me @mikepompeo. Go do it now."

What did he mean about stepping aside. Could mean just out of the way, but this implies that he is going to stay in the government just in a different role. He could have said "step down" and this would be vacating him his post overall. He could have said his term was up as SOS and that he will be out.

The word "aside" literally translates to:

a remark or passage in a play that is intended to be heard by the audience but unheard by the other characters in the play.

This is exactly what is going on with everything. The audience is supposed to know something is different, but the characters keep playing as normal - none the wiser.

The line of secession to the President is: VP, Speaker of the House, President of the Senate, and then Secretary of State. Take from that what you will.

VP Pence (treason by certifying fraudulent slates of electors)

Speaker of the house (do we even have to discuss the amount of crimes?)

President Pro Tempore of the Senate is the next in line since the VP is the president of the senate. This is currently Chuck Grassley (R - Iowa)

Maybe we should start digging into Grassley?

Unfortunately he voted against the objections of the fraudulent states

In other words he’s not a “good guy”?

Today is the 13th. One week is the 20th. When a new President is inaugurated the old Cabinet is gone, although it doesn't have to be that way. We have to see the 20th to know what's in it.
