Congress FEARS the CoS . They set the rules, but they can’t enforce. Anything, and I mean ANYTHING can come out of a CoS. I can see your point, but what’s the alternative....a broke system where the political elite rule? Term limits for congress...absolutely. Transparent election systems....again...yes please.

The Convention of States as called voids itself if it goes outside the boundaries of the call. The Convention would have been called many times already if you merely had any state for any reason want the call. It has to be 34 states in agreement for the call and why it is called. If that is not enough whatever they come up with has to be ratified by 3/4's of the states afterwards.

I notice nobody is jumping up and down in fear that Congress has the same power with a 2/3's vote. Guess what? now that they have proven they can steal elections without being stopped it's going to get to 2/3's soon enough.
