I was actually just about to post this same thing. There is a group trying to get this going, has been for awhile.

Maybe we try boosting them?

Mark Levin has a book on this topic also. Just beware, once you get a convention started, there is no going back. You never know what these jackasses will bargain up and come out with, but you can be assured they they will make you regret it.

Secession has the support of 25% of the population now. We have passed the Overton Window. Expect more.

Exactly. This is being pushed by the left. They're trying to get less knowledgeable conservatives to pick it up & run with it. Once you call a convention, EVERYTHING is on the table - INCLUDING 2A.

This is correct! For this to really get off the ground they need to solidify 3 ammendments they want, i just dont yet see the consensus that will bring it all together yet. But we are closer than ever

These are proposed by Mark Levin in his book, and are the only group of amendments that have gained any traction:

  • Impose Congressional term limits
  • Repeal the Seventeenth Amendment, returning the election of Senators to state legislatures
  • Impose term limits for Supreme Court Justices and restrict judicial review
  • Require a balanced budget and limit federal spending and taxation
  • Define a deadline to file taxes (one day before the next federal election)
  • Subject federal departments and bureaucratic regulations to periodic reauthorization and review
  • Create a more specific definition of the Commerce Clause
  • Limit eminent domain powers
  • Allow states to more easily amend the Constitution by bypassing Congress
  • Create a process where two-thirds of the states can nullify federal laws
  • Require photo ID to vote and limit early voting

Edit: I'd also like to see a new amendment that clarifies the 2nd, ending for all the debate on guns, cementing the right for individuals to own any gun and accessory.

Yes and ive taken surveys from CoS pcac... what i am getting at is for branding and marketing. Pick 3 ammendments that most states agree with and push those hard... I would also like to repeal the 16th

So mine would be Repeal 16th Repeal 17th Election Reform

If the Convention goes beyond the boundaries of its call it voids itself as written. Even then 3 out of 4 states have to vote for any amendments passed. The enemy knows they can steal elections without losing . It is only a matter of time before they control 2/3's of Congress. That means they can pass amendments the old fashioned way rather than the modern way of Judges making it up out of thin air. We literally have nothing left to lose.

No way! This is a tactic used by the left to modify the 2nd Amendment. Pedes, you have to be smarter than this. Once you call a convention, EVERYTHING is on the table - INCLUDING 2A.

This is being pushed by the left. They're trying to get less knowledgeable conservatives to pick it up & run with it.

The leftist group "Common Cause' brags about how it canceled Convention calls in Nevada, Delaware, New Mexico and Maryland . The left is scared to DEATH of Article V.

We don't need new laws. We need the laws of our republic to be followed BY EVERYONE.

Completely different things.

Yeah, but if we can get an amendment to the constitution with say, term limits, vote security, and the like, not following those laws would be a big ass thing that I don't think even the most brainwashed could ignore.

How about a clean slate amendment from Article V? Something that would fire all the Elected officials and Judges since they have become so corrupt . Maybe toss out at least half the bureaucrats as well! Let THEM finally feel what it is like to become unemployed!
