The Senate right now is not what was originally intended. The Senate was there to protect the interests of the individual states which is why the legislatures picked the Senators. They voted away their power because people were paying too much attention to their Senate choices! That is another good reason to go back to the old way!

Impose Congressional term limits
Repeal the Seventeenth Amendment, returning the election of Senators to state legislatures
Allow states to more easily amend the Constitution by bypassing Congress
Create a process where two-thirds of the states can nullify federal laws
**Require photo ID to vote , limit early voting **
Why on earth would we let the legislatures elect Senators? That sounds awful considering today's corrupt government.
