I, too, live and work in NJ. I know just as many people who are hypnotized by the shit they see in the media. I have family who are generations of union workers who have eaten the democrat bullshit their whole lives.
The overwhelming majority of the people i know who either voted for hillary in 2016 or biden in 2020 do so off of the rhetoric they are fed by the media. They /think/ they're being good people.
You convert people by example. That's what alpha chads do. You lead your flock. Of the aforementioned hillary voters in my friends and family, I converted a good chunk of them through success.
I do well for myself, with the benefit of nothing but a vo-tech education. I thank the grace of God for the dignity of being the maker of my own future. I don't hide my political affiliation from any of my friends and family. They know that my faith in God informs my faith in GEOTUS. One by one, friends and family will ask for frank discussions about how i feel about whatever topic.
Their narrative is all based in lies. If you truly love these people (as a multi-generational NJ pede, as i said, i have alot of family here and love them dearly - regardless of political hypnosis) you will accept them back with compassion. They will inevitably hit a stop or fault in the logic. Their self-satisfactory instant gratification life style will nip them in the ass. When it does, you can be the force that stands them back on their feet.

On a National scale, that is not working. One could factually observe that it is failing especially in NJ. (Delaware to Vermont, too)
