Guy I ride bikes with got the call to report on the 18th. Something else is going on if they're activating the Marines.

What does a Marine do if he is commanded to violate the Constitution all the while having taken an oath to uphold the Constitution?

Insubordination to uphold oath?

Or follow orders?

You can refuse to follow unlawful orders. Just depends if the Marine knows the law and has the intestinal fortitude to stand up to superiors.

Official policy is that enlisted men must always assume that an officers orders are legal if they want to stay out of military prison.

Don't expect the officers to be on our side. Admission to a military academy requires a recommendation from a congresscritter, and just looked at how bad the senate has gotten, only like 2-4 of them are on the side of the constitution.
