First off the NCO corps doesn’t have that kind of power it’s not backed up by the UCMJ (The only time and an enlisted individual can arrest an officer is if that officer is in the process of committing a crime or has with due evidence committed a crime (which disobeying a illegal or unconstitutional order in the eyes of the officer is not a crime, the worst thing that officer could face at that moment would be relief of duty/command by their commanding officer). Secondly, there are as many right wing officers in the military as there are left-wing Officers, The same goes for the enlisted force. It turns out the military (as it was intended to be as a cross-section of America). And within the institution of the military there are people are varying thought and beliefs. So some of this will obey the president, and some may not. Also some NCOs may disobey and some may not.
You are wrappped around unconstitutional orders. I would NEVER obey unconstitutional orders. Everything I am talking about is on the side of the Constitution. Trump issues orders supported by his constitutional authority. If officers refuse they will be arrested by NCOs or other officers. I disagree that NCOs cannot arrest officers in time of war for disobeying presidential orders. I would have done so in an instant and borne the consequences if wrong, but I would not have hesitated. I was fortunate to have served with incredible officers. There were no liberals in my unit type, alphas only.
