I see no justification for the downvotes. You're just stating facts. The part about the military swearing an oath "to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution" is, well, in the Constitution FFS. It's the same oath the President takes, except for the military, "against all enemies foreign and domestic" is added.
The military can refuse orders they believe un-Constitutional (as you point out in your later comment). Unfortunately they can also commit treason or sedition under the pretext of defending the Constitution. OR the Marines really could be about to come to the aid of the Constitution that constitutes these United States and rescue our nation from the traitors. I'm praying for that.
It's not a magic document that settles every possible contingency in advance forever. It's one of humanity's greatest political achievements, but it was still made by humans for humans.
