If you think worrying about the "optics" or what the media and the left think of this man are important in comparison to him being impeached or remaining in office I completely disagree.
I also disagree that you will find anyone else that people will rally behind like Trump who will not get corrupted by the swamp before they have a chance to act on anything.
You are also leaving out 4 years of leftist control ... there will be no election for anyone else...
