Actually, that’s not quite right. JFK just had the FBI look into his past because he was appointing him to a position in his administration. Even though they found all of this stuff, he still got the appointment, and the FBI did not pursue anything further Per JFK‘s instructions not to. But you could tell from the file that the FBI believed all of the allegations to be true.

Pelosi somehow got “elected” — not only as a congresswoman — but as Speaker of the House.
