I think a lot of us have been concerned with the weakness of Trumps speeches or with certain letters from the Pentagon or Congress. However, I think a lot of us overlooked Chad Wolf stepping down as head of the department of homeland security and Trump assigning the current leader of FEMA as the dual head of both DHS and FEMA.
This ex-marine, Peter Gaynor, was hand selected from semi-obscurity in Rhode Island by Trump to become the provisional head of FEMA in 2018. So we can assume that he’s not a swamp animal.
As dual head of the DHS and FEMA, he is now potentially the second most powerful person in US Government. In fact under a state of national emergency, his powers in some ways would exceed the presidents powers.
All Trump has to do is use the emergency broadcasting system (or any other media remaining which is not suppressing him) in order to make a speech where he declares that we are under a triple state of emergency. Number one, the United States suffered from a biological attack likely coming from China. Number two, the overreaction and shut downs blamed on the pandemic were in fact a purposeful and planned economic attack on the United States and its citizens. Finally, the overreaction to the pandemic also resulted in an attack on the security and legality of US voting system leading to a fraudulent election.
Once he has done this speech, he could declare the current election null and void and then maybe call for a detailed audit or rerun of the election.
But knowing Trump, I think he’ll sit back and wait. Given that many of his supporters will be very angry and threatening protest, it’s likely that the head of FEMA, Peter Gaynor, will have to cancel the inauguration ceremony for security reasons. The Democrats will ask for a private ceremony, but Trump won’t respond unless they’re willing to negotiate on a recount or re-vote. The Democrats may even try to send John Roberts over to Joe Biden‘s basement in order to declare him the president.
At any point, the Democrats may panic and call out their Antifa and BLM shock troops. However, you should know that Trump and the head of FEMA are 100% in control of the national guard that is currently in DC. It is likely that the National Guard will deal with any protest quickly and firmly. I do believe that FEMA may already have some nice camps set up for those rioting protesters.
Given that all of this is a constitutional process, the Pentagon will stay out of it. If Nancy Pelosi goes to the Pentagon again to beg for help, she is risking arrest for treason.
As head of both FEMA and DHS, Peter Gaynor has a tremendous amount of power to call on call on federal agents to cooperate in dealing with this national emergency. As head of FEMA, if he needs more security in addition to the national guard, all he has to do is give himself a phone call and request it from the head of the DHS, himself.
The only way I see the Pentagon getting involved is if one or a number of agencies within the department of homeland security refuse to cooperate with activities related to the state of national emergency. For example, if the FBI or CIA decide that they need to neutralize Peter Gaynor, Marines could be sent over to the CIA or the FBI and just simply shut them down.
