OK so someone posted a video of someone been murdered about 5 mins ago, IMO this is clearly an attack on this site so the powers that be have a reason to shut down the site, I believe the best form of defence to this is any new signup needs their posts to be vetted before going live for say 7 days before getting the same privileges as everyone else.
Anyone else agree.
The mods clearly know we have a problem with new sign ups by shills, there needs to be some controls in place and the handshake needs to last for at least a month as well.
We have Coudflare to protect against DDoS yet we aren't taking any serious efforts to stop scum like "against hate subreddits" who are famous for dirty tricks like posting kiddie porn to get sites shutdown.
Trust but verify would be a good start but when dealing with the dirty bastards on the left it really needs to be do not trust and verify.
Change the handshake icon to the BLM fist gripping a cock & balls.
That will help us spot the shills while hazing the newbs.
I have only been a member for about a month but could the site not create more mods from long term members to deal with this influx of newbies
It's hard to get good mods, for example I would qualify but I would never apply because I just don't think I would be to the level needed. I hate having power over others and I also worry I would be over zealous. Moderating is a very hard job to do well, hard to find the people that are good at it but will not abuse it.
I do however keep an eye on new and deport the obvious shills but some are sly bastards and only ever post comments on accounts they have let age past the handshake time out.
Newbies are awesome but it's the leftists here to cause trouble that suck.
So you have a great idea and they do ask for new mods every so often but finding the right people I bet is hard.
