OK so someone posted a video of someone been murdered about 5 mins ago, IMO this is clearly an attack on this site so the powers that be have a reason to shut down the site, I believe the best form of defence to this is any new signup needs their posts to be vetted before going live for say 7 days before getting the same privileges as everyone else.

Anyone else agree.

Seven days isn't going to do anything. Reddit has years old Sharia Blue accounts.

A better idea is to make all new user posts only visible to seasoned users, effectively making old users low-tier mods.

If new users manage to get a certain number of points without getting deported then they can be full users. However, even this won't be enough to keep out all the government/NGO actors.

Also, let's put a much better indicator on new accounts. Like have the username in red or something.
