No. Like it or not, some of the most pertinent information coming from outside TDW is coming from Twitter. If you want anyone to take you seriously when you're posting information about the steal or Pulitzer releasing his verified findings of other countries meddling in our election or whatever, you post the direct fucking link not a screenshot.
I disagree. A Twitter screenshot is very easy to validate if you don't trust it. If you want to go to the site to see it yourself, knock your socks off.
If you want to stay on twitter and post useful stuff here, go for it.
In the current year, you shouldn't trust any screenshot that purports to be critical information if you can avoid it. (ie: if the source still exists or an archive of it does. I realize there are some circumstances where a screenshot would coomprise all of the available information on a subject.)
I didn't say to trust it. I said it's easy to validate twitter posts, you go to the username and look at their tweets if you want to validate it.
We aren't going to agree, it's fine.
Whether the link is there or not, my personal choice is that I am not going to give twitter any traffic at all. The only exception is videos that I can't find any other way but still want to see.

My choice is to deprive them of my traffic.
