Trump only gives the order. It is up to the Commanders from the top down to coordinate logistics, etc.. Don't blame Trump blame their commanders. I have respect for anyone who serves, as I have also served; however, most National Guard are not professional soldiers. Whenever they came to my unit when we were downrange or training they were getting Article 15's left and right for stupid shit. We even had a SSG get busted down to a Private. Not putting them down, they just don't have the soldiering that most regular military have.
