The thing that stands out to me, is it looks like she was doing this for a republican as well. I may be reading the info wrong, so please correct me if I am . But my gut tells me I am right. The fact that she is getting arrested, now tracks. It will allow the media to play up that angle(she was working for republicans!)and it’s probably the only reason law enforcement decided to actually do their jobs .
