But he's been a around a long time and usually seems to have good info, if you can get past the fact that his neighbor raises fences at Gitmo, his "friends" include high ranking Chinese insiders and he overthrew governments for a living. (the last one seems legit at least)
He did say accurately that Mattis and Esper would be fired, and called 9/11 before it happened when really no one but him and Jones were predicting it.
Back in I think 2014 or 2015 he was really pushing for war in Iran, though, which never materialized. It was probably close but thankfully that never broke out.
