I haven't been keeping up on the congress side of the facts, what are they saying he said? I know they're like "he clearly incited violence when he said, go peacefully!" and stuff like that but are they quoting anything in particular?
Also, it seems trump baited them into it when he said that "I've had several people look at my speech, and they said that it couldn't be a call to violence" before he got on the plane to TX the other day. obviously that's paraphrased but I recall him saying that.
They were gonna do it anyway but I love that Trump ALWAYS gets in front of their talking points on what they are so clearly going to do. Then it weakens their hold on being sneaky because everyone knows what they say and they don't care cause it sounds fucking stupid.
We have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated. I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard. Today we will see whether Republicans stand strong for integrity of our elections, but whether or not they stand strong for our country, our country. Our country has been under siege for a long time, far longer than this four-year period. We’ve set it on a much straighter course, a much … I thought four more years. I thought it would be easy.
AND...
Our brightest days are before us, our greatest achievements still wait. I think one of our great achievements will be election security because nobody until I came along, had any idea how corrupt our elections were. And again, most people would stand there at 9:00 in the evening and say, “I want to thank you very much,” and they go off to some other life, but I said, “Something’s wrong here. Something’s really wrong. Can’t have happened.” And we fight. We fight like Hell and if you don’t fight like Hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.
That is what he said that are the important parts. He didn't incite any violence. "Fight" doesn't mean literally in this context, but they're going to take it out of context, of course. It's the exact same thing when they say he's sexist, misogynist, racist, etc.
The moment he said "Grab them by the pussy" all those years ago, everybody jumped on the slander wagon. We should've gone the Ugandan approach back then. Social media contributing to slander? Media contributing to slander? Ban them all. Admit it, the left has won this propaganda battle
I had to today after a very liberal friend argued with me that he had watched it live with his own eyes and Trump never told people to be peaceful.
After I showed him the "PEACEFULLY" protest clip he defaulted to saying Trump tweeted encouraging people when they were in the building and that he took an hour and a half to issue a statement. Blah blah blah
history will exonerate trump of all lies because people in the future looking back won't be inundated with the nonstop barrage of left-sourced memes and fake news and snide remarks by the likes of tapper and yamiche. instead, they will see what he has done and the future will be like what the fuck.
Not just a full transcript, literal video of it. Millions of people saw the speech before the tech cartels tried to delete it.
Video that youtube, Facebook, and Twitter are frantically deleting.
