Question for LawPedes: So the Constitution says that only a sitting president may be impeached. Since the House has voted to impeach him again but won't be able to complete the process until after Trump leaves office, is it legal for congress to postpone impeachment until after Trump has left office, (making him a private citizen once again), notably after Biden's 100 days as one congresswanker has stated?
