The top leader of the US military is the President.

I know, but you're going into a semantic argument that's not relevant. I'm referring to the person who is senior in their day to day command not their entire oversight.

It’s not semantics, what you’re saying makes no sense. What General has more support and power over Trump? Do you mean take over a base? The Joint chiefs of staff? It’s impossible to do what you’re saying in today’s US Military. There’s no 1 top leader of the military besides the President, and under him is a big list of leaders, followed by an even bigger list of leaders. No 1 position can control the entire armed forces of America. Not even a rogue President, or any rogue General. You can’t hold Congress hostage with 50% of the population against you.

You're not understanding what I'm saying, which is pretty straightforward: stacking the top of the army with loyalists is the best move a president can make. You are, again, getting caught up on semantics.

What do you think the Dems/CIA have been doing for decades? You act like Trump didn’t understand this concept. You can’t just replace the joint chiefs of staff with loyalists overnight.
