The National Guard is the standing militia for each state. It's illegal to have more than one militia per state. It'd be seen as an insurrection and it's normally put down with a quickness.

Where does it say that?

There are militias everywhere and I'm pretty sure they are constitutional. Militias have been around for a long time and no one has ever challenged their legality to my knowledge.

NFAC is a milita, and I stand by their right to be one just as much as the oath keeps for example.

I dont mean anything by this post, other that this point.

When and where is this been declared illegal, specifically?

(Not sarcasm, legitimate question)
