Infiltrated. If a patriot can get into the chats, then so can antifa/fbi/cia/blm/communists/china/russia/etc... Doesn't take much effort.

Most of the talk about "these networks are bad because right-wingers use them" narrative is big tech trying to increase their control + monopoly.

Had the discussion with my brother a few days ago regarding militias. After reading on some major "terrorism" busts by the FBI, I came to realize they infiltrate EVERYTHING. They have plants in various militias, the Three Percenters, Antifa, BLM...they were monitoring McVeigh and Nichols, they were embedded in the Black Panthers. If there is a group out there that they consider even vaguely a potential threat, they WILL be there. Period. We realized that if we ever wanted to join something, we'd have to start with ourselves, and branch out only to people we know. And keep it small. So small the you could only have people you know in it with you.

Most of these groups aren't setup to combat infiltration. They do vetting for these groups are designed mostly as fraternities to have beers and talk about how shitty the world is.

There are ways to organize to defend against infiltration but people are more concerned with making friends than actually doing things actionable and when you're organized to defend against infiltration, it's not a good setup for friend making.

Realistically, none of these militias or groups are sophisticated enough to start or maintain an actual civil war or threat to the government. If you really wanted to make a difference you're better off finding 1 or 2 people you know for sure you can trust (worked in the military together and grew up together etc...) and organizing an assassination of a prominent person.

If someone wanted to they could start trying to organize an actual resistance cell. The Muslims and other terrorist organizations are decent at it but American patriots only know how to drink beer and go to the shooting range. None of these groups are organized to actually fight the government.
