Great opportunity for younger pedes in the state to get into higher education as a springboard to get into positions of institutional power.

That's just fucking outstanding.

About goddamn time somebody put students before teachers' unions and overpaid administrators.

Fuck your public school indoctrination. I see more private, parochial and magnet schools in Nebraska's future if it passes.

I love this. There are issues (similar to what access to college funding did to college) that we'll need to watch for, but it's a giant step in the right direction.

I like the idea, but how long before the school requires more than government gives the kid and needs a grant or loan to go.

Homeschooling students get to keep their tax dollars or are funded by the state?

Fund students? whats that mean?

If you fund the people attending over priced Liberal brainwash conventions then how did they not fund the system?

They’re are going to give money to the students who will then pick the school they wish to attend. Great move. This is how you shove the long dick of democracy down the throat of the indoctrinationist.

School ratings are going to plummet because of drop-outs. Drugs are going to get out of hand. Taxes are going to rise. HAVE A NICE DAY!

“The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America — A Chronological Paper Trail”, will change forever the way you look at your child’s education. Written by whistleblower Charlotte T. Iserbyt, it is the result of what she discovered while working in the US Department of Education and her subsequent research on the subject. First published in 1999, the original edition of the book contains 743 pages replete with documentation of the policies, conversations and events that led up to the way our educational system is run today.

This book is MUST READ. History lesson. Public schools have become an Otto Von Bismarck dystopia, though I don't suppose this fellow above me freaking out in leftist fashion even knows who the man who invented Kindergarten is.

Suffice to say our world is shooting itself in the foot and bleeding out when we could reverse all these incompetent road blocks and rebuild education based on the classical models.

Seriously think how much time you wasted in public school. Think of things that could be taught instead.

Business models WANT artificial scarcity.

Healthcare's business model requires people getting sick

and Social Security puts an incentive for people to die.

You're telling me we couldn't replace the hours of social propaganda in public schools, for one example, with basic firearms operation/safety, farming, fishing, hunting, self-defense, how to use/search internet and basics of privacy/hacking. Kids are smart!

Most the time and money spent is a complete waste or an actual impediment to dreaming of or building a greater future than can currently be imagined.

Energy costs trending to zero requires a market adaptation - not a reset to feudal serfdom.

Healthcare can go from death prevention to life extension/longevity

reduced taxes keeps incentives to live, invent, share wisdom, breach generational gaps, rediscover the intelligence enough to appreciate the great works of Shakespeare, Homer, or Thucydides.

Math and reason might signal a return to sanity.

It goes on. Sorry to rant BUT PLEASE KNOW THAT YOUR EDUCATION SYSTEM IS WIRED TO MAKE YOU STUPIDER. THIS MUST CHANGE IF ANYTHING GOOD IS EVER TO COME OF THIS WORLD AGAIN.
