Don't give them any advice on how to improve, I don't want any trouble, but if it finds me I want them as overconfident and vulnerable as possible.

Plates are heavy, so far I have only seen a few protesters wearing actual gear..and frankly tactically speaking, most of the violence has been committed using make shift blunt weapons, knives, mace, batons, and 9mm Hand guns...None of which plates will save you from.

bro... have you ever had plates? I'd much rather have that kit on fighting someone with a melee weapon than without. Boron carbide based plates only weight about 15 pounds for an entire kit

Plates are relatively affordable.

The problem with ceramic is they can only take 1-3 rounds and never in the same place before they crack. And given that ceramic plates are 250 a pop and you need 2-4 of them, that shit gets really really steep.

Plate armor is more affordable. Their little sheet metal shields are worth nothing.though. Rounds will piece the like a hot knife through butter.

I like medieval armor myself.
Call me old fashioned.
