Lake Travis is okay, but noting impressive, and quite muddy. Every major city has a comparable music scene. Traffic is terrible. Housing and COL is expensive. There is cool nature within driving distance, but you have to drive a good distance to get there. The food is okay, but not that impressive.
I guess it's less humid than Houston, so that's something.
Also true, have long thought that they need to move the National Legislative Capitol to a new, remote, location every 2 years to prevent the government workers from rotting them, and to make pro lobbying more expensive.
