Turn off those alerts, they are the nonsense ones that they use to try and make you scared. I think there's the AMBER alerts (I bet they haven't been using that since we've not had that "missing kid" news cycle in a little while) and then "Imminent" alerts that have a few tiers to that (severe weather comes to mind, along with whatever you just showed)... You can opt out of all these.
Presidential alerts are where it's at and you can not opt out of that.
