I live in the Black Belt and live in a 2/3 democrat county/ district. The 7th congressional district. We actually could use a huge influx of conservatives.
Also from Alabama. Problem with the Black Belt, unforunately, is in the name. They have an exreme in-group peer pressure to vote Democrat, even when it goes against their own interests. Come to the Wiregrass or go up above Birmingham if you canif you're planning to move here.
